and subsequently contested for Lok Sabha seat as a Trinamool Congress candidate; Founder Member, All India Trinamool Congress,(A.I.T.C.); Former President, West Bengal Youth Congress; General Secretary, West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee; Spokesperson, All India Trinamool Congress (A.I.T.C.) Attended the Session of United Nations (U.N.) both at Geneva and New York representing India. Also represented the country in the United Nations General Assembly Session (UNGA) at New York and on the concluding day of the Central Session of UNGA, i.e., on 1st November, 2017 in the main auditorium of the Central Hall, U.N., New York, U.S.A. Earlier, in 2016, was present in the Ceremony held in the St. Peter`s Basilica at Vatican City of Rome, where Nobel laureate, Mother Teresa was conferred Sainthood by Pope Francis in the month of September 2016. In this year, also attended the Business Summit held at Munich in Germany hosted by the Hon`ble Chief Minister, West Bengal. Also visited many countries of the world while on tour with Indian Parliamentary Delegation team.
